MW Aqua Solutions Co., Ltd. (MWAS) was established in April, 2017 as Japan-Myanmar joint venture. Shareholders are Wellthy Corporation, a Japanese company, and Myanmar Water Engineering Products (MWEP), a local company in Myanmar. Wellthy Corporation, a group company of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group, is a private company with expertise in producing safe drinking water from groundwater, surface water and etc. Wellthy has a water quality analysis laboratory, which is certified by the Japanese government. MWEP is a leading company in the field of wastewater treatment in Myanmar, having strong expertise in membrane bio reactor (MBR) technology. By integrating the know-hows and expertise of these companies, MWAS is able to provide total solution to water and environment issues in Myanmar.
